FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What cut-out size do recessed downlights need?

Each fitting has a specific cut-out diameter or size. Check the product data sheet and set out cut-outs to avoid joists and services.

Can recessed lighting be installed in a concrete ceiling?

Not usually without a ceiling void. For exposed concrete, surface-mounted or suspended lighting is often a better choice.

Where do recessed lighting drivers go?

Drivers sit either inside the profile or remotely in the ceiling void. They must stay accessible for maintenance.
